If you have motorsports experiance you should know better
Keep your games on the tracks and NOT on our roads
There my thoughts

And people wonder why the government clamps down more and more on us car owners / enthusiasts...

Mate - if you're drifting on a public road, you are a knob.. I am not sure how much "Professional Driving Exercise" you have had, but the first thing they tell you is "Don't try this on the streets".. It's an uncontrolled environment and things CAN and DO Happen.

Watching people drift / fishtail on wet roads just ticks me off.. All it does is tar all those with similar vechicles with the same bad brush - and gives all a bad name.

And before commenting, yes I own a high powered car.. Around 500hp.. I drive it when not in the Navara and I Don't feel the need to "skid" it on a public road. That's what people have track days for..

Owning a car and a drivers license is an privilege, not a right..

My thoughts...

how the hell do you drift a D22 anyway, can't even get mine to spin the wheels let alone drift around corners (yes in the rain).

Yeah they drift pretty easy in the wet, my old 2wd d21 king cab was one of the easiest cars iv ever had to hang it out and bring it back again, the d22 4wd steel tray is a bit less forgiving with its boat-like springs and high C of G weight transfer, and neither liked extreme angles and were too underpowered to do it properly, that said, I don't go out of my way to drive like an idiot in my work truck, but once in a while, if I do get a bit excited and end up hanging it out a bit, I keep the foot in till she's sweet again (which doesn't take long in such a gutless car), but to summarise, any front-heavy rwd will drift good, but something with a shorter wheelbase, a bit more power and sharper steering angles ( that actually has a turning circle less than 300 metres) like maybe uummm even a commodore, you'd think a bloke who claims to be a professional racing driver would know better anyway haha. 8)

It is possible... And really easy haha there's no weight in the back and with it's tight as LSD it steps out way too easily lol

Yea and we are meant to feel sorry for the kid, I feel sorry for his mother and father, 18 years of blood sweat and tears and for what 10 minutes of stupidity ending in them having to bury their kid.

any loss of life is tragic
ime just thankfull that no innocent people were killed due to his lack of judgement/self control

Mine couldn't snatch a lubed up frankfurt out of a dogs ass let alone drift. Doing it in a car with no turning circle (lock) and no were near enough power to pull you out of trouble is only asking for trouble. Kill yourself fine. Kill any of my family look out.

I doubt he probably remembers composing that post judging by the wording he was either very pissed or on drugs or both what a waste of a night.
