Tyre sizes

Hey all,

Just a quick question on tyre sizes... I have a set of bighorns on my D40, they are 265/75 R16.

Q: What are they in inches? Is it just a matter of putting a tape measure from floor to top of tyre?

They are about 31.86
There is many tyre size calculators on the net. They are considered 32"

For some reason I had it in my head that they were 33's.

There is many tire dimension hand calculators on the net. They are regarded 32 inches and yeah as compared to many other sizes this suits the best for the ride......
