I have fitted a blitz dual turbo timer to a d22 3.0
I have connected the
red from turbo timer to white and green 12 v constant
Blue to blue Acc
Green to ign 12v cant remember what colour it's on the back of the barrel
I have hooked the hand brake wire to turbo timer

My problem is that it won't let the car idle when I turn it off
There is a orange wire from the turbo timer that's supposed to go to the Ecu speed signal that I haven't wired up , would this stop the turbo timer from working

that extra wire is normally for an o2 sensor or something like that, no use on the d22. Did you connect to the right side of the hand brake switch? The hand brake wire for most turbo timers need to be earthed.

i wouldnt trust just matching the colour coding of the turbo timer to the nav either, its not exactly universal in the automotive world.

got a link or photo of the wiring diagram?

Yeh I will try to get a diagram up I counts down the time eg radio stays on till. The timer stops but the truck won't idle till the timer stops

I found a similar thing with mine. Ended up cutting the "on" wire and putting one wire to each side. I think it was blue to ign switch and green to the engine side. That was the only way it would run on properly and lock while the timer was running

sounds like you might have the acc, and ign wires ass about face mate. When i shut mine down, all the acc. turn off and the engine just idles until it counts down.

When I hooked mine up I just earthed the handbrake wire, and after turning the ignition off the fan turns off but the radio still works as do the electric windows..,,

The only down side to just earthing the handbrake switch is if you turn the ute off and its counting down, someone could jump in and drive off and just keep adding time to the counter. I mean that's a very rare chance of happening but it could. At least with the hand brake hard on and they did mange to get going they would prob stall it sooner rather than later and have to leave it where it is.

I seen a lux in a car park idling down when i was going into the shop, on the way out it was still there idling. Either wired it wrong or the relay had fused shut, i reckon in the wrong neighbourhood that window would have been smashed and driven off pretty quickly especially if he didn't have it wired to the hand brake.

I have a thought about that happening sometimes, lol...

You still have the ignition barrel lock though...
