Turbo sensor

While i was away the missus was driving the ute and the engine light came on so took it to the dealer who said its a turbo boost sensor so ordered in and my mate fitted it cleared the code using the method with accelerator pedal. Code still reappears 0238 turbo boost sensor excessive high voltage... I started to do checks out of manual I have only to find out a d40 king cab has different pin outs on ECM can anybody help
