Hmm a bit vague here but what I am assuming is that you're trying to makes the lights on a canopy work. Brand of canopy would help. Model of Nav would also help but is probably not essential.
In my D40 I drilled a hole in the panel just below where the canopy seals against the tub, pulled the light assembly out and wired the brake light straight to the brake light. For an interior light I wired it to a second battery so that might not help you.
