I finally picked up my 2013 d22 now am about to have a towbar installed and was thinking of doing it myself ,my question is ,is there any airbag sensors or the like behind the rear step that i may come across ? Dont know much about the newer cars my old girl is a 97 d22 and the only airbag in that is the wife......sssshhhhhh dont tell her i said that

And secondly is the wiring loom plug and play or do i have to mess around splicing wires

theres no air bag stuff in the rear also the wiring loom is plug in and play so to speak, no cutting / splicing atall. its a very easy job , i fitted my tow bar and loom without any assistance.
