Tjm rb6 rear step

Hey guys

got a question that needs answering

Im looking at getting a TJM rear step/bar for my NAV
that i found cheap on the net. But the description says pre 2009 short tub, which i have a 2011 and I dont know what this short tub long tub is.

Basically what im asking is
will the pre 2009 bar fit my car

heres links i found on the TJM site but cant seem to find anywhere that explains the size difference or if they have a different bolt pattern.

But i did notice something
On the sale eBay sale i found for the bar
the description did say pree 2009 short tub
but on the tjm site it says 2008 was the short tub and 2009+ is the long tub

so this is why im confused.

it doesn't fit.

The early one is the 081SB27209O (which suits the short tub models)

The new one (081SB27209P) to suit the current model has a number of changes to make it fit.

Basically short tub is the one with the ribs on the outside of the tailgate
Long tub is the flat one like you have, approx 100mm longer so overhangs the chassis at the rear more...

both descriptions are correct..up to and including 2008 is one version.. and pre 2009 is the same..just 2 different companies have different ways of describing the same thing. If you use the search engine here there are many posts about tub lengths
