Time Out

I don't know if this is normal in this forum but while I was thinking of what to say in reply to a post, I got timed out. what ?? that shouldn't happen .
If you are replying to a post, it should stay open until you post a reply.
But I got blocked and had to sign again.
What's the go ?????

There are two possibilities here. First, you timed out - I think it's like 10 minutes or so (maybe 15). I don't watch the clock between posts, but I do sometimes do some research while I'm posting and every now and again I'll refresh the "New Posts" list so that I don't time out.

The second possibility is that you've reconnected to the internet again, possibly through a modem reconnection or something like that. It happens to me when my phone changes cell tower sometimes.

It always happens to me if I fiddle with the identity of my browser, but I guess that's not something you'd be doing a lot of!
