Time for a Timing Chain?

Good afternoon, getting a bit of a rattle sound coming from engine at start up. It goes away rather quickly and can't really hear anything unusual after that. It is a new sound, so not the normal sounds that the engine has always made. I have watched a few YouTube videos, and it does not seem quite as loud as on the videos, but like I say, I have only just started hearing it. I am not a mechanic, although sometimes I "try" to be. Is there anything I can check to narrow down if it is a timing chain issue without opening things up too much? Also if anyone knows a really good mechanic in the Wagga, Young, Canberra area please let me know.

If it is the timing chain, I was thinking of swapping over to one of the dual chain kits available from YD25, so any feedback about those kits would be great too!
