HI was looking at the T-MAX 12500 rope winch, has any one got\had one, any good or stay clear of them. please help

I just bought the T-Rex 13,000lbs one which all looks the same for $359. Will fit it over teh holidays to see how it performs.... I didn't want to spend big $$ so it might or might not be a bit of a gamble..... It's going on our Prado...
