Hey guys and girls
I am currently getting rid of my hilux which has a steinbauer chip
Now my question
Looking at getting either a d22 or d40 can I put the steinbauer chip from my hilux onto a navara

Call Diesel Care in Tamworth. They are the distributor for them so they will know. I know some are interchangeable.

No you cant the steinbauer chip even different between the d40 navara with the different kw outputs.

From what I have been told it's only the programmed tunes that are different on the yd25 navara units. Also know that the navara and the new Hilux use the same module and only the harness is different. I was talking to the rep a few weeks ago about one for my D22 and he was explaining all this. The new ones don't even use a signal wire from the pedal anymore.
