Steering Wheel plastics for D40 Navara

gday everyone iam about to replace the two plastic parts on the steering wheel - i have watched & watched the you tube video on how to get the air bag center part off ..and no just cant get it to pop off as the say it does and shows ..has anyone have any ideas on this

It can be a pain, just use a screwdriver in the notch underneath and wiggle the airbag as you push with the screwdriver.

Ram a Hi Lux and the airbag will remove itself

Dont do what i did and loose conteol of it when it finally came off...it ripped the wires from the plug.I fixed them back but now have a permanent fault...just don't let it go they are heavy!!! Mine needs 2 screwdrivers either side then pull in the middle...pain in the ass without 3 arms and hands
