Lube? WD40? Turn the stereo up?
There are a number of options but it could well be a tight belt as well.
Any other symptoms like only when cold, under load, all the time, only on left hand corners etc?

I use a small amount of silicon spray to shut them up, but you need to make sure it's not a alternator bearing failing or the A/C pump dying or an old perished belt first.

I have a Titanium D40 and noticed a few days ago after cleaning the engine bay, i have a squeak on start up till it gets warm then it goes away..

I used some WD40 and it went away for awhile, but it's back..

I'm thinking i might take it in for an early service, or do you reckon i should wait till it's next service..

It's entirely up to you, no one can answer your question accurately with such a limited diagnosis. Mine's squeaked since before the 10K service, sometimes it lasts a few minutes sometimes it lasts until I'm out of the garage. Lube stick on the belt does seem to quieten it and the rattle of the broken airbox clip is always louder than any belt squeak when the engine is warm but neither myself or my mechanic are overly worried about it.

If you are worried get it seen asap, if you aren't wait for the service.

Are you sure it is not the main belt because they generally start sqeaking when they are on there last legs. Every time mine has started sqeaking they have let go within 3 days on it starting both put on be a Qual mech and i both belts lasted less then 3 months. So i put the new one myself and have not had a prblem yet 4 months and counting lol

My zd30 does it, turns a few heads as I go up the street lol, mine looks frayed on the edges though, think its just the tensioner looks pretty old and I might replace it when I get a chance, the squeel goes away if I put a few drops of water on it.

If it squeals on start up it either needs a little more tension or it's really old and becoming hard/brittle. If it's just noisy during normal running rub the grooved side of the belt with a bar of Sunlight soap, that'l make it run silently.
