Do the sports bars for a d22 twin cab fit onto a '87 d21 twin cab?

I think someone worked out recently the early model d22 canopy's fitted some D21's so it might be possible. Ask the seller for the measurements and measure your tub it's probably the best way, a few mm you can handle but any more than 10mm might be a bit too much, and welcome to the forums.
