I have received a quote from an official Nissan garage for excessive weight on wheel bearings to near side of my d40. I have been quoted £550 for their services.

I would like to know if their are any people who are aware or any Nissan specialists available that aren't actually working for Nissan. Main reason being the difference in price.

If there are any available - are there any local ones perhaps..

I live in the area of Nottinghamshire

How on earth do you get "excessive weight on wheel bearings" unless you overload the vehicle?

D40 bearings being rediculously expensive.

I just did the drivers side front wheel bearing today actually, it is a complete hub assembly with ABS sensor included which is why it could be so expensive and I know it cost me about $300 AU for a non nissan one.
