Solar battery charger

Hello,

Has anyone tried using one of those?

The Navara is [mostly] my weekend car and in the cold days of winter the car is sometimes hard to start. I was thinking of getting something like this solar charger and just leave it connected during the week. Just not sure how reliable it is, for example what will prevent it from overcharging the battery?

Any thoughts?

Id go at least to the 4W version, 1.5W @12v isn't going to do anything haha

As above. I've got two of those and they don't do much with computerised cars. Worked ok in my old L300.
