It's something you can do at home with the right tools, a bit of time, a few cold ones, and a stack of paitence.

I've pretty much got all the x-flex setup, except the extended shackles.

Mate im a floor tiler with f all mechanical knowledge and i just finished installing front and rear suspension to my D40 took me 3 hours for the front and about 4hours for the rear.

Yeah mate, it's pretty neat. The front end jumps around a bit more than before, but check out my garage to see exactly what I've got under my truck. All except the UCA's supplied and fitted by ZORDO (champion of a bloke!)

I fitted the UCA's in an evening by myself, check my buildup thread ("Clarky...") for more details.

Myself and my mate have 05 and 06 Navaras with the Snake 3" kit. You have to wind the shit out of your torsion bars to get that 3" tho! I settled with 2", more comfortable/safer ride.

definitely! i wasn't looking for the 3" when i installed mine, just the extra wheel travel when off road.

Did you get a diff drop kit? Or not worried about the angle on the cv?
