Reverse light & Neutral position Switches

I wanna replace the switches coz a wire broke off one of them and I think it's the reverse light switch coz the reverse lights don't work.
Here's the problem.
I thought it was just an unplug and replug but there are 3 connectors and it seems the switches are interconnected somehow to the 3 connectors.
the pics might not be clear but there are 3 connectors to the 2 switches.
also, the wires from what I assume is the neutral pos switch are shorter than what is already there.
What's the go with this as it has me stumped and the manual is bloody hopeless.

PS. almost forgot to say, I assume switch "1" is the reverse light switch.

Hi Jarone,
thanks for the diagram but I took the easy way out and it's now in hands of a sparkie.
I think I got the switches mixed as well. the one with the broken wire wasn't the reverse light, I think it was the neutral switch.
