I'm the new guy... I recently bought a 98 ST dual cab with the QD32 engine. I have found it to be quite sluggish and recently struggled pretty badly to make it up some reasonable sized sand hills. I don't think it was a grip or tyre issue as I've used the same ones in the past with out any problems. I found the engine wasn't up to the job and couldn't keep the required revs or speed to make it up the hill. Now I'm thinking that a turbo is required.
Can anyone who has done this upgrade tell me how they found their results to be and what kit they went with.
I'd like to be able to do it for around $1000 (if possible) so if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to acquire a turbo/intercooler kit i'd be very appreciative.
