Hey, just a question.
After some light-medium off road my 2014 D22 power steering has been playing up. It's hard to describe but I'll try.
When under load (dry steering) on grippy surface like Tarmac the steering makes a whine noise and locks up at half a turn, on gravel/ grass it turns like normal without noise until full lock.
When at full lock on any surface it makes abnormal screech/ whine noise.
Eg, if coming out of parking space, so get the steering you must begin driving.
If I force the steering once locked, after two or three turns back and forth I 'break through' the lock, only to lock again at another half a turn.
I've read several power steering posts but they don't seem to describe the issue i face.
If anyone has any idea or has had this happen please don't hesitate to comment
