Hi
I apologise in advance if this question sounds stupid, but a mate has brand new canopy that he picked up at an auction for a bargan but has no need for it and said i could have for it for an absolute bargain. The thing is the canopy is a different colour to that of my car and was wondering are fibreglass canopies generally painted( colour coded) to match after purchase or is the colour embeded as part of the manufacturing process. Just wondering if i could buy it and get it successfully painted to match the colour of my car?

Painting won't be a problem. Is it definately fiberglass?
Get it plastic bonded then painted. Any good painter will do it fine

^ What he said.

If you're going to the pros it's an easy job. It's doable by yourself but you need to have some painting experience beyond primary school art class.

Can hurt to give it a shot though. Little bit of paint isn't hard to get off at all,
What type of canopy is it? Is it smooth of textured?

Its a smooth texture sport style canopy. But i dont think ill be painting it, ill leave any painting to the pros. Thanks for the feedback.
