Hi everyone,

I have been having an issue with a rattle sound when accelerating at about the 3k-4k RPM in 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd. It sounds like it is coming from just behind the accelerator pedal and when you slightly put pressure of the clutch pedal (not engaging the clutch) it stops.

Its like when the slack of the clutch pedal is taken up the noise stops. Could this be wires rubbing from the vibration at higher RPM?

Any ideas?

Have a look in the engine bay for the hydraulic lines that run down the firewall. Grab some packing foam and squeeze it in behind these - should solve the problem.

Nissan ought to rectify it too - it's a problem they're aware of.
