No throttle response

Hi guys. Need some advice on my V9X please. For a while now after starting she idles at 1000 rpm instead of the normal 900. After I restart the engine, all is fine. Now even restarting doesnt help. When this happens I get no response from the acceleration pedal whatsoever. After some research I am thinking it is the acceleration pedal that is faulty. I have read on the Hella website that my symptoms point to this. When I unplug the pedal the idling returns to normal. Please advise before I spend another 7k only to find the problem is elsewhere. Have had to fork out quite a bit the last couple of months, but am unwilling to sell. Too happy with my truck. Greatly appreciated.

For the price of a pedal, I'd try that as a first stop..

You don't have a drive selector installed do you? the little computer chips that alter throttle response?

A pedal assembly from a wrecker is a good bet, because rather than be faulty from the wreck, it's likely to be the cause of the wreck.
