Nissan Navara V6 4L gearbox jerk

Hi all. Just purchased a second hand navara v6 4 litre. Its the 3rd day I am driving it and all of a sudden when the gearbox changes gears up or down it makes a hectic thump sound and even vibrates the dash. I got home today really worried about why it is doing this. Does nayone have any answers? Its got 147000kms so I can take it to a recommended mechanic? Please help, love the car and hope this experience isnt going to dampen what I have experienced so far...

Welcome to the forum.

I'd start by checking the fluid level in the transmission. Wipe the dipstick on a clean white cloth and look at the oil left on the cloth - it should be clean.

Thanks for the advice. I actually took it back to the dealership. Lets hope its not going to be a big problem :/
