G'day all,
Thought i best join up after ages of lurking around the pages.

In the process of negotiating on a D22 Nav, QD32, 230000km.. trying to secure it for $1200...

if all goes well, planning new suspension and brakes, clutch, GB overhaul and a turbo kit. Fatty feet also on the cards for beach walking. This will serve to be a shooting/fishing bus.

I'm a mechanic by trade and have a fierce passion for Italian motorcycles (ducati)

I distinctly recall being absolutely left for dead by 3 Laverda 1000s on my way back from the Bike Australia rally in 1985. I was on my trusty CB900 just taking my time somewhere around the speed limit and these guys went past like I was going backwards.

Good luck getting the Nav - that's an inexpensive ride.

Righto, the big navara has been purchased!! $1200 and she's all mine..
Now to find big feet for her and some other bits.. Needs a centre bearing and a clutch in the very near future.
