Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and just bought a navara. It's a 1986 dual cab 2.5 diesel. Anyone have any info on these old trucks? I think it's a d21 model? I've done a bit of googling and the like but haven't really found a whole lot of info on them. I was just curious as to what they're are they good trucks are they reliable, are they any good off road? whats the economy like? I'd imagine only being a 2.5l diesel it would be a bit gutless up hills etc but I could be wrong. So if anyone could answer some of my questions and provide some info that would be great. Thanks for the help guys!

Welcome happytimes. There is a D21 section here and there is Dion and a few others who know them a little bit more intimately than is recommended so I'm sure you can find some answers.

Its a D21 and the engine is the SD25, slow but reliable.
