Good grab mate. Will be waiting for pics. There are a few mods that may help the fuel consumption in those hungry v6 motors. Keep ur eye out for meet ups with the other Sydney blokes.

Oh and welcome

Rusty

thanx guys. whats funny about them motors rusty? i know there s alot of info on here but just a quick question for now

Funny? Or hungry, most are doing an 80 series airbox conversion to gain more air intake and coupled.with a.Nissan snorkel it increases again. You dont need much to help them get up and go. To be.honest I wouldn't mind one of the 3.3 v6 motors. Maybe stick it in a custom buggy or something

welcome mate, might have to do something about those wheels sticking out past the guards, nice rig by the way

might get those rubber inner guard linings that stick out about 2 inches. should do the job. hunting for a bullbar atm. thinking about an xrox or a black steel bar wich compatible... what do you reckon?

goes better than a turbo diesel man. i drove 2 td's and them are slugs

I disagree having driven the D22's with 3.0L, 2.5L and the 3.3V6 the V6 is the worst of the them(in a straight line maybe not) its also very very thirsty, don't expect to get more than 400km to a tank, its saving grace is that its a pretty reliable engine though.

i used to drive a nissan pulsar gtir making 250awkw. she used to drink 50 liters in 330-350km. i understand i have a slower heavier car now and if it s going to be about the same on fuel i m happy. i didnt get a turbo diesel because i know i d start modifying it for more boost and power, exhaust, computer etc... i spent enough money and time modifying my lil beast. none of the less i loved it and enjoyed it to bits. i m not touching the navara as i want it always reliable for the long trips.

man i cought it longtime ago with the pulsar. i hold myself from reading modification threads on here, no word of a lie, so i dont start because i wont finish hahahaha

Sweet as man. One of my old school mates is heavy into his pulsar racing.

But seriously, it won't take you more than a few trips out (especially if you go with a few others) that you'll catch the bug again.
