Hey all,
Finally joined up after a bunch of registration problems (huge thanks to Dave for sorting out).
I've owned more cars than I care to count over the years and am definitely no stranger to Navaras.
My Uncle has owned a 91 Terrano for about 15 years which I have borrowed a few times when I'm visiting.
Dad had a 2wd 94 D21 work hack for years.
That bullet proof KA24 had 380k on the clock, never used a drop of oil and never once touched except for servicing and could still manage 180km/h with a 750kg excel body on the back.
Poor thing only lasted a few months at the hands of an unsympathetic teenager and is now rotting away in the wrecking yard.
And I for several years had the 2003 D22 single cab tipper tray which I was very pleased with
Anyway a few months back my ex's step father just chucked me the keys to his d21 single cab and said here ya go have a paddock basher for the farm.
About half an hour later I finally pulled my jaw up off the floor.
Yes its an old 89 model and has almost 300k on the clock but the reason I was in shock was he has owned it since new and it's in mint condition, been babied it's entire life, I don't think the tow bar has ever even been used before I got it.
Anyway far to good to use for a farm ute anyway.
Completely original and unmolested, never been in a prang, never repainted etc etc
Even had the original 1 speaker AM only radio lol.
When I had it pink slipped about 6 months ago the guy said he has never come across one so tight in the front end still.
All I've done externally is fitted the Narva ultimas and the chrome steelies I got off ebay with good tyres for $50
