Newbie advice !!

Hi all don’t hate me for bringing this up as it’s probably been covered a 1000 times!!
I’ve recently bought a 2013 st Spanish built D40 and I’ve fitted some 17inch alloys with 265/70/17 ko2’s but they look small with the lift I’ve fitted, wanting to put 285/70/17 but any find any info in regards to a 285 fitting in the spare tyre location. I’ve searched but couldn’t find anything I promise.

It may depend weather you have a towbar or not.
I have the 265s and am also in the next couple weeks going up to the 285s.
My spare just sits shy of the towbar and would also be just ( by eyeing the vertical line only) out of the way of the rear diff if it ever made it that far up.
I'm definetely keen to hear success stories tho as im not putting the spare in the back or on the roof
