hi all my name is jimmy and im new to this forum, i own a nissan navara d40 2010 model reason why i joined is im after a alaminum tray canopy would prefer powder coated but will take checker plate wanting one to setup for work and camping anyone has one for sale let me now

I'm not sure a roof top tent would sit on top of my canopy, it's a SnugTop (supplied by Nissan) and just looks like fibreglass with no major structural supports.

That said, the static loading of the roof (and perhaps the canopy) can be two or three times the dynamic loading. The roof over cab supports 95kg dynamically - so you ought to count on about 250Kg when camped. That's enough for 2 adults, a tent plus bedding and valuables. I don't know the load capacity of my canopy, I might give my dealer a call and see what the answer is.
