Hello all ,Garey1955 here
Navara D40 owner with an annoying problem.Constant oil smell in cabin is driving me mad.Can anyone shed some light on possible cause. Have checked gearstick boot & cabletied top,gearbox breathers,engine breathers.
All look ok. Please save me.

Hi mate and welcome, Havnt spilt oil on the exhaust manifold anywhere , that does give a oil smell but it usually burns off fairly quickly

Welcome to the forum.

It's likely to be the gearbox breather on the firewall, its outlet is turned around to face the cabin air intake. Most Nissan dealers would know about this and could fix it in 5 minutes.
