sigh 2.0L..... going the way of the amarok. I prefer a little more cubes than that ( I think the new ranger has it spot on )... even if the new navara 2.0L is twin turb'd, still wont make me like the powerplant.

at 550nm, it will be a highly strung little thing. i am curious to see much further they can take these small diesels in terms of performance.
vw are rumoured to be bringing out a 295kw/400hp(petrol) version of there R hatch. insane figures for an off the shelf(2L)!

The article I read said it was to be a 2.8lt cummins.
Someone has their facts mixed up.

Latest V6's out of the states are getting amazing economy for power and size.
