Good morning all members, I finally joined up after being a guest user for about a month. I've been using this site to research which Navara year and model I should get and finally put a deposit on a 2010 D40 ST.
Hopefully pick it up before Friday as I need to organize baby seat anchors ASAP.

These types of forum sites are a godsend and hope to be able to contribute my part as I gain knowledge and experience.

Yeah I wanted a fairly new car with low k's and this one is immaculate.
Although it was advertised with the 147kw motor which I can't seem to find out if it's true or not.

Krafty is right i do know all there possibly is to know..... NOT.....

But actually in that year model there was no such thing as 147kw motor only a 126kw and a 140kw.
The ST came with the 126kw and the STX with the 140kw,

Ask Nathan, he's a know it all.

I thought I read on here somewhere that the 2010 ST's from Thai had 140kw's.

No mate the 2012 ST does because it is actually last years STX.
The one you are buying is definitely 126kw. i have the origanal Nissan brochure from when i bought mine somewhere, i will try and scan it and put it up for ya.

They changed a few things on the motor to help acheive the extra power and get better fuel economy at the same time, eg the cylinder head, turbo, ecu

I actually did a thread of differences between the 09 and 10 models from the two spec sheets and about the only thing not on there is the difference in engine
