new guy on the block

Hi to one and all.Just got myself a 2008 st x t/d 4wd auto.Would like some comments from like owners as to things i should look out for.I have never owned a 4x4 or t/d for that matter so any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome navguy. The first thing you need to look out for is D22 drivers, they aren't very good and get jealous of D40's. Otherwise I don't think there is anything too look out for but someone else will no doubt give you some ideas.

Oh yeah you started a trend Woody. I used hate driving through Cranbourne at 1am on a Saturday and Sunday morning, it's a major friggen highway and it was like an obstacle course when the drunks got out of the pubs. Dunno how many times I hit shopping trollies and crap on the roads. But still Navguy is a Nav driver so he wouldn't be one of those idiots, if he was he would have grown out of such behavior, that's why he brought the Nav.

I stopped doing the Phillip Island run back in 03 but I was glad to get out of the place, between feral and drunks in Cranbourne, idiots who thought they could stop a truck with their bare hands in Wonthaggi, annoying shop owners in Inverloch and more than one trip of 300ks without a clutch I was happy to come down here for an easier life.
