Navara 2010

Hi Guys
Just wanted to know how everyone was going with Navara`s. I purchased my first New Navara at the begining of the year , its a 2010 Nissan Navara ST D40 Turbo Deisel . I had several Patrols before the Navara so I have found it to be a bit longer overall ,and thats with out a bullbar ! . The first time i tried to park it i had to get the missus out to check how far i could go back . The nose of the truck was still hanging out , what a mission ...
I`ve just put 18,000Km on the truck and have been getting 450Km on a tank up until now, just went to the snow and back and got 580Km on a tank, had been wondering when it would get better. The seats are not as comfortable as the Patrol, could do with an extra fuel tank , and rear coil springs . I also found dust comming in from around the doors , not what is was expecting from Nissan.. Overall not a bad truck so far.............

I nudge 600kms when I fill my STX up, but mine's a manual. I am guessing your's is auto?

There were a few discussions on here with auto guys trying to get better fuel economy, I'm not sure what they came up with in the end. An extra fuel tank sure would have been nice, there's certainly plenty of room for one.

Spot on with the auto. Have loved auto`s since i found that i could drive with one hand and drink and eat with the other.....ps great in the sand..

Hi Stephen - welcome to the forum.
I also have a auto ST with a canopy and a set of black widow draws in the back -
I regularly get just on 600 klms out of a tank. - 12000ks on the clock.
My economy seems to be getting better.
