Put some new wheels on the ute today.
They are 20" x 8.5" Advanti Typhoon's running 265/50/20 G T Radial AT3 rubber.
Going from the factory 7" rim with 45mm offset to the 8.5" rim with 29mm offset they stick out a wee bit but the tread is just inside the guard so Mr Plod won't get upset and there is no need for flares.
