Loss of power STX D40 Manual

I am down at Port Julia and have had my STX D40 manual loss power totally. It has been when I have pulled over and the vehicle has idled for a short time.Turned off and restarted and everything is back to normal.This has happened 3 times under the same circumstances. Have secondary fuel filter and EGR blocking plate. We are heading north so have to get sorted. Closest Nissan Dealer is at Kadina SA. Any clues on what the problem may be?

You should know most of the reasons for limp mode, I would do an ecu reset and try again without the van. If you cannot scan for any codes can a mobile mechanic do this?.

Dirty SCV, classic symptoms.

Attempt 1: Can of Liqui Moly fuel system treatment ($25 at SCA).

Attempt 2: Remove SCV, clean in petrol, dry, inspect, rinse in diesel, reinstall

Attempt 3: Replace SCV (do this for any damage visible in 2) as well)
