Loadspace management

I want to divide the bed to give a smaller 'boot-type' space at the back, accessed by dropping the tail or lifting the XTR hardtop rear glass.
Two options I've seen would be a bed extender (fitted inwards) or the movable/pivoting cargo manager both of which are obscenely expensive (c. £250+ each)
Any bright ideas out there for a cheaper, nice looking & workable alternative?

You could try building it yourself and then you'd get exactly what you need done to your requirements. No doubt there is also companies over there that could take your specs and build to suit but I'd have no idea what sort of costs to expect. Any pre-made type set up from any manufacturer is probably going to cost you a fair amount so DIY might be the cheapest option.
