Lift and VDC

Guys,

Has anyone had any issues lifting a D40, in relation to the VDC? I notice the manual says not to modify the suspension as it may affect the VDC functionality. Wondering how/what could be affected?

Done 2' Body lift and 2' Suspension lift and both times the VDC light has come on (Disabling VDC)

Pulling the Earth off the battery and resetting the ECU, the light has never been back on and can confirm traction control is working and VDC is back to normal. Not sure if this exactly fixed the problem but did after I done this and drove it around for a bit..

mine is lifted 80mm and i dont even run a sway bar and everything is ok, done 27000ks now with no probs, car was lifted on the day i bought it.

I never had an issue with mine on a 50mm lift and remember the VDC coming on a few times, so it was working fine as far as i could tell.

Oh and the lift was done from day one and i did over 75,000km
