G'day everyone.
I'm thinking of putting some of the chrome ladder racks on the back of my d22 and wondering what people have done with their tonneau. I have a factory nissan one that isn't currently fitted but is it worth keeping to modify somehow to make it work or should I be looking at finding a new one?

I have mine modified with a cut out, then when I remove the rear rack there is a small flap that is sown on that flips up and Velcro is used to hold it al in place.
I can post pics later if you want

A few pics of the cut out in the tonneau cover for the rear ladder rack, To be honest this one isnt the as good as the last two that i have had done, i think the apprentice done this one and decided to change it slightly.
Anyway i think you will get the idea, and the auto trimmer you see will have his own method no doubt.

Yeh mate thanks that helps a load. Least ill have some sort of an idea of what to tell the bloke doin it. Looks like a pretty neat job too.

this is from the first one i had done and is very similar, But you will see it is a bit neater as they didnt have the velcro flap that joins the two edges on top, instead they put it under and the two edges sit together. I like this way a little better.

I like that flap to block the hole off,if i don't have the rear bar fitted i'm left with a hole on
each side.
I might take it to a trimmer and get it done.
