Have Nissan 92 2.4L Petrol Navara. Distributor points burning. Car running rough worse when hot. Can any help. Thanks

nice of you to intro your self jimdi, welcome to the forum.

Looks like your thread to do with a bump, so other members can offer some help.

Im not very good with electric's, BUT I would start by checking the coil, leads, cap, ect and replace any thing a bit suspect then new points again with the right gap and check the timing, then see how it goes

Sounds like the resistor block is stuffed.

Are you setting the dwell right ?

I haven't played with a carby petrol in years.

Cant beat a diesel for the lack of ignition system.
