Intake manifold

Hi, I’m new to the forum. Just wondering if anyone has done an intake manifold removal and clean on the d40 with the yd25. I’ve heard the common rail needs to come off however in the repair manual it appears as though it doesn’t.

One of the injection tubes (from pump to rail) has to come off but the rail itself should be able to stay where it is.

An inspection cam inserted through the EGR port should reveal if there's a need to remove the manifold.
