Hi all for the 3rd time.
My first attempt at this went somewhere, just not sure where. The second go did make it the board at least but has since pulled a vanishing act, so for the third and final attempt here we go.
Did you lot know you have created a monster ( so the minister for war & finance claims). I have had a 05 STR for the last 6 years as a company ride. 210 Thousand trouble free K's apart from the loose wheel nut - you know - the one behind it. I am leaving that course of employment this week to pursue bigger & better things (with any luck) and as such had to look at getting a rig of my own. After some deliberation and looking at a few different 4x4's the decision was made to purchase my company car. Since then I have had a Blue Max 2"lift put in
, Done the EGR Mod, (Just as a side note, did you know that the stainless from the bottom of your wife's vege steamer makes the purfect thickness plate to do that job
)and have installed a catch can. I won't actually own this vehicle until later this week.
Next on the list are an intercooler, a 3" exhaust system and a pillar pod with boost and EGT gauges.
Have been told I have to wait a while under threat of Nav suffering the same fate as the vege steamer
