Hi everyone. Thought its about time i started a thread on my nav. Its a 2005 D22. I got the ute back in November last year. I picked it up in Perth and drove it back to Victoria. Not doing that one again in a hurry. It already had a few mods that i wanted.
3" snake racing lift
33" mtz
Duel batteries
Snorkle
Rhino roof racks
Head unit and 4 speakers
I plan to use it for 4wding and what not but its also my every day driver. My wish list for it is,
Spotties
UHF
Winch
Chip
Intercooler
Steel tray
This list will no doubt grow as i spend more time on this great site and look at everyones kitted out utes.

I think a pair of spotties make a ute so the first thing i put on it was a pair of lightforce 240 xgt's. They look great and really light the road up at night. Also any suggestions welcomed and let me know what you all think of it.

I was finding it bit hard off road without being able to air down my tyres so next was a compressor which i got arb to fit for me. I got it behind the back seat so it doesnt cop a beating with dust and mud. Have to say i was wrapped with the job arb did fitting it.

I got a tigerz11 winch with rope. Really pleased with it. Its pulled me out of a couple of serious bogs without even struggling with only a single line pull. Its off the ute at the moment but will put some pics up when it goes back on.

do you mind telling me how much this bad boy cost for ARB to supply and fit? Really keen to get one.

um from memory it cost me $520 fitted thats including a tyre gauge/deflator and the pump up kit which has a few fittings and a hose. But if I did it again id fit it myself because they charge $180 fitting charge

Hey Mate, Nice rig! Looking at hooking up my compressor behind the rear seat. Does the wiring run under the car along the chasis? Not too sure how to run the wiring for mine and want to try and smash it out on the weekend. Also do you just have the switch on the dash? Electrical work and my DIY dont mix! haha but im sure this forum will help me out heaps!

Cheers mate. Na my wiring is ran inside the cab. It comes through the fire wall behind the glovebox than underneath the carpet along the side to behind the back seat. Hopefully that makes sense. Its all neat and tidy and you dont see any wires. Yeah its just a switch but I got mine put on the centre console instead of the dash.

My next installment of goodies just arived today. 6000k 55w hid's for my headlights. Cant wait to put them in because my stock headlights are about as good as 2 candles burning up front

Put my hid's in today bit of mucking round only because of lack of room. Not real pleased with them. The passengers one doesnt change between hi and lo beam. They are bright but i expected more and arent real good for distance. Ive heard some people say they put their lightforces to shame. No way. Spoke to the seller and im getting another set. Hopefully these are better. What has everyone thought of theirs?

What wattage are they? Any idea on light temp?
I use a 35w kit, 4000k, perfect amount of light

I've only got a 35w Chinese set in mine, but I did find high beam next to useless. Low beam they are fairly decent, but I put on spotties and stuck a 55w kit in them instead of just using the normal headlights for high beam.

I think the problem with the standard lights are the hid globes are too long for them, so on high beam the light comes off the wrong spot on the reflector

They are 55w 6000k lights. The seller said there must be somthing wrong with them with only one going to hi beam so hopefully the new ones are great like everyone says

Thats sort of what i found even though only one went to hi beam. But yeah as you do i have my lightforces which are great
