Just tonight, I experienced some unusual deceleration from my nissan nav'16, ...that even if I push down the accelerator it doesnt accelerate...I tried to let go and it came back...recurring a few minutes...have you guys experienced this?

We have, but in the older diesels it's been the SCV that's been responsible for it. I'm afraid I don't know the newer engines that well. First step in the older engines is to throw a can of injector cleaner in the tank and drive it (or use Liqui Moly Diesel Purge and be done in minutes).
