Not sure if I'm in the right thread here.
Hi all, jut thought I'd make myself known to this forum. I have an older 2000 d22 petrol (x telstra) and the gearbox has finally given up. Basically it always had a problem with the syncro on 2nd gear but i was driving home the other day from work and i heard a bit of a thump and when I went to change from 3rd to second i couldn't. It was literally stuck and as i was in a major traffic area i had to get it out so with a bit of brute force (reluctantly) i managed to get it int neutral. I found I can engage all gears except for third which will not even look like going in. So basically I'm after a second hand gearbox if I can get one cheap enough otherwise I might have to go down the path of fixing it which I don't really have the time and rsources to do. Can any one help
