Hi Guys, well as the name says it i am a converted man from the prince of darkness ( land rover ). All going well i will pick up my new Narvara St-r on saturday. Nice forum with plenty of info on here for new guys like myself. Before i brought the new car read lots of reviews always seem to find the bad ones .
Can anyone give me any advise on things i should check before i sign the papers and once i get it home please ? i have been told to check the rear diff oil level as they some times ship them low on oil .

Welcome mate.

Look over the whole vehicle and spot imperfections if there is any and some had the open diff fluid put in instead of LSD oil.

Not so much as low level but the wrong oil altogether for the LSD. Surely they dont do it anymore.
Check your front passenger door by pushing against it when it is closed. There should not be excess movement inward toward the B pillar.
Check the front ride height and clearance from the lower bump stop if you are getting a bar fitted. Ensure that the peanuts at the dealership have adjusted it accordingly and that it drives in a straight line after they have done so.
If you are getting a torneau fitted check that first of all they have fitted the stickies and that they have fitted them to where the cleats (?) will actually rub or else it goes straight through the paint before the first service.
If your getting accesories fitted then make sure get back the parts they remove...they are worth bugger all on Ebay etc but the dealerships use them for insurance jobs and charge full list price on gear they got for nothing.

Other than that most new Navaras come with they're own unique faults for the new owner to discover.

Yes we were friends but i did most of the work myself .

only options i got nudge bar snorkel tub liner then the body care package .. remote entry etc
