I am currently working on a D40 trying to disable DPF mode and dispute assurances from my programmer it is proving very difficult but we are working through it.
I had a customer ring up with a brand new STX550 V6 and we are looking to put a power file which I know we can do with confidence. HOWEVER, he is looking to also replacing the exhaust. Suggested a larger free flowing exhaust upgrade which we could still tune.
He is now being told by a tuning box supplier that Nissan has disabled the DPF in the most recent models so can be replaced by any exhaust.
Is this true? I have my doubts, if it is disabled wouldn't it clog up?
If it is true then easy for me to do
