is there anyone out there riding on Goodride tyres
was thinking of trying a set of all terrain 265/75/16, priced at $170 each

I have a pair of the muddies on my camp trailer. Doesn't help, i know. They have heaps of tread for the kays they've done on road. That's all but

My rule with tyres is this.

If one set is cheaper by half that of a good set, Ie bfg Goodyear etc.

Then it's most likely you'll need two cheaper sets to get the equivalent km out of them

That and usually the sidewalls are way softer etc

That is a better tyre size than those hula hoops you have now, looking at reviews they are a good tyre, I'd still look at the General Grabber for a cheaper but respected tyre.

My 2006 D22 came with a new set (265/75 R16). Not that noisy on the highway, seem OK in muddy conditions but little testing yet. Bit slippery in rear end when wet but I dont have a benchmark to compare with (first rear drive car without stability or traction control).

Nothing wrong with that psi, I've found the slightly taller sidewall of the 265/75 flexes a bit more than the stocker. At low pressure you know it.
