after some serious consideration and reading the looooong thread about blanking the egr.. didn't read it all because that requires paying attention, and i just came home from the missus so im spent lol

1 thing I did not see is if other mods need to be done.. like taking out the dpf. Can someone please let me know the answer to that one? I have a egr plate sitting in front of me..

Removing the DPF will require a replacement pipe I believe - not sure, as I have a manual gearbox and therefore no DPF, so hven't bothered learning anything much about DPF removal.

Correct.. you'll need the DPF Delete pipe... Chip-It sells them for approx $300..

I'd also recommend getting the re-calibrated DPF sensors.. That'll ensure no white smoke due to regen..

User AUGGIE on here can help you out with those.. I got mine and no issues at all now.

Cheers for that :)

You dont need to do any other mods if all you want to do is the EGR, just put it in and your done.

If you do want to get rid of the DPF you can but it has nothing to do with the EGR.

+1 - the EGR block actually reduces soot output so the DPF doesn't have to work as hard anyway, but otherwise they're unrelated.
